  • About Us
The entire process at Good Herbs takes place at room temperature. No heat is applied in the herbal extraction process.
This is tremendously significant since heat breaks down the herb and makes it less effective. Heat kills some of the active properties and the more heat used, the less the nutritional content. Cold processing takes more time. Depending upon the herb, the cold processing can take from one to three months, and it is more costly. The result, however, is a high quality product that is so much more effective.

There are cases where water extraction isn’t strong enough to pull the properties from herbs, but this is no reason to utilize toxic solvents that are commonly used and are detrimental to humans and to the environment. A combination of food-grade alcohol and quality distilled water has been proven effective over many centuries.
